love baby wearing

I'm a fan of baby wearing. 'nough said. I love it.

Things that I love about it are having baby close, giving your baby that comfort and security of having you close, nursing discretely, being able to get things done (like carrying a load of laundry to the laundry room without putting baby down!), being so in sync with your little as if you two are connected or just one-it's an amazing feeling.

I remember when I could no longer carry Wyatt in a wrap because he was too big, I felt this loss, as if someone told me I had to take off my hand. After a few weeks it was as if he didn't even need me anymore. I know as a parent your goal is to build enough confidence in your child so that they can feel independent and be their own individual person, but when the time came for Wyatt to be Wyatt I was a little sad. He didn't need me anymore.
I didn't start wearing a wrap until Wyatt was about 4months old. Wyatt went all over in the wrap. We hiked through our local hills, traveled through Colorado and went on many other adventures together. I remember his chubby little legs would kick with joy when I put him in his wrap.

With baby #2 my sister in-law gave me a Dolcino Woven Wrap as a baby shower gift. Not only is the wrap comfortable and functional, it's beautiful! I started wearing Owen in the wrap at 3 days old and he loves it. I'm able to play with Wyatt and give him much needed attention while holding Owen. I forgot that wonderful feeling of wrapping your baby, it's a beautiful feeling being so connected to your little one. I would not have known so much about baby wearing if it weren't for my sister in-law Kellie, who truly makes being a mother look natural and easy. Thank you Kellie!
