life is wonderful.

wow. this past week zoomed by.

it was a tad bit stressful and also fun.

my car had been undrivable for a few weeks now and 

i've been looking into all of my options.

my sister jumped on board and started calling dealerships

and really working hard to get me a good deal.

she did just that! 

i drove home my first ever brand new car yesterday afternoon!

i am madly in love.

i want to drive everywhere!

wyatt's birthday last weekend turned out great.

more people came than rsvp'd but that's ok, it was great.

i realized though that i am the world's worst party planner.

i'm serious.

but no one seemed to care, and we all had fun.

wyatt had a blast and got many wonderful gifts.

 

last week i stayed with penny and oliver while my sister celebrated her birthday in vegas.

i got the kids off to school for their last day of school.

my nieces esme` and zadie were also down for the weekend.

it was busy weekend!

so my efforts of blogging on my galaxy2 totally failed me, please forgive the blurry pictures and messiness of this post!

the past few weeks have been a lot fun. i had oliver and penny during their spring break and i took them to disney land! we had so much fun.

oliver then finished the remainder of his spring break with his aunt paula. Penny, the boys and i headed north to visit uncle ben, aunt kellie and the babes. we had a total blast.

we went to zadie's safety fair at her school and it was so much fun!
the littles got to go in police cars, look at a fire truck, play games and eat bbq.

wyatt started crying when we hit la. 

he missed aunt kellie and uncle ben's house and all of his cousin's. 

this was our first visit that he didn't ask to go home, not once.

back at home we settled right in, hung up some lights in the backyard and relaxed.

it was an adjustment coming home, we missed everyone and we were all tired from our adventures.

just to clarify, i said tired not grumpy.

the tide was low and the tide pools were happening today.
we discovered a new area at the beach we always go to. i felt a bit of nerves as i followed the kids around the corner which is normally hidden by the water, penny in the lead turned back and said, "m if Columbus was too scared to explore, think of everything that would have never been discovered!".
yeah. i got told by a 5th grader to pretty much chill the hell out, enjoy life and quit being a sissy.
funny thing is she's right.
we won't learn anything new if we don't listen or try, we won't see new things if we don't get out and go, and we won't finish a thing if we don't start.

 

 

this kid cracks me up into a million pieces.

what a comedian, he makes everyone laugh and laugh and laugh.

owen is moving and scooting around, becoming a little foodie, smiling all the time and such a mama's boy :) he makes us all so happy.
