life is wonderful.

wow. this past week zoomed by.
it was a tad bit stressful and also fun.
my car had been undrivable for a few weeks now and
i've been looking into all of my options.
my sister jumped on board and started calling dealerships
and really working hard to get me a good deal.
she did just that!
i drove home my first ever brand new car yesterday afternoon!
i am madly in love.
i want to drive everywhere!

wyatt's birthday last weekend turned out great.
more people came than rsvp'd but that's ok, it was great.
i realized though that i am the world's worst party planner.
i'm serious.
but no one seemed to care, and we all had fun.
wyatt had a blast and got many wonderful gifts.

last week i stayed with penny and oliver while my sister celebrated her birthday in vegas.
i got the kids off to school for their last day of school.
my nieces esme` and zadie were also down for the weekend.
it was busy weekend!

Wyatt in his moment of fame...

If you know Wyatt than you know he has an obsession with police.
Not just police but police cars, Woo Woo guys, sirens, toys that are in any way police related, he literally  lights up when he sees these things.
The other day we were in Target and he saw a man shopping and was estatic, he yelled "look mom a woo woo guy, it's a police man guy mom!".
I didn't want to burst his bubble (or the man's) so I ignored the fact he was in a mechanic's jumper suit, with motor oil all over him and a name tag that read Mike.
Anyways my mom, Wyatt and I were out walking (this baby out of me) last night and we witnessed a hit and run!
It was unreal.
First off we walked on the opposite side of town, we never ever walk over there but for some reason we did last night. This man was obviously under the influence and just kept driving so I called the police!
The people who owned the car were very greatful since they hadn't witnessed it happen or even seen the guy's car.
I placed a report and then we started walking home.
The dispatcher called back as we were close to home and asked if we could come back, they had arrested a man and wanted me to identify him!
I felt like I was on an episode of cops as I pulled up in the cop's car to the crime scene, they put on the brights and walked him in front of the car, it was definitely him.
Little did I know uncle Matt was on the other side of town walking his dog and witnessed the same guy side swipe three cars! He also called the cops and was there when the guy was arrested! How funny is it that we both called on the same guy, we are the only two witnesses on the police report.
Small world.
Anyways when my future husband, I mean the police officer, dropped me off at home he let Wyatt get in the drivers seat and flash the lights in his patrol car! Wyatt was in heaven. I've never seen him so quiet and so serious. The police officer took pictures with Wyatt and was so sweet.
It was definitely the highlight of the night.
But still no baby, even with all of the excitement.
I'm still waiting for the Orange PD to call me and ask me to come work for them, I'm an excellent identifier.

Just a normal Thursday...

Only 4 more weeks!
Can't believe 8 months has gone by so fast.
I know the next 4 weeks will move in SLOW motion.
I'm finally prepared... almost.

Here is my photo shoot with Wyatt.
(I keep forgetting that my awesome cool camera is out of batteries.
So I keep using my phone for everything... not bad but I really need to
remember those double As!)

 seriously? this kid is amazing.
I used this website to edit my photos.
After Picnic closed I was so sad, but I love love this photo editing website even more!
Check it out.

this week in pictures...

We went to Prehistoric Pets day before yesterday and it was awesome!
Seriously you have to go  HERE.
I went online as we were driving there and saw horrible reviews, so I was totally bummed out!
Once we got there I realized those people had to be terribly mistaken.
They were complaining about how expensive it is!?
Children under 3 are free and adults are 5$... I don't think you can go through a drive thru for less than that! I thought it was great and so did Wyatt.
For a total of about 6$ (in addition to my entry fee) he was able to feed giant tortoises and these crazy little turtles in a big pond. Seriously my only complaint was how awful the reptiles smell, but you can't really do much about that! We spent a little over an hour there and he loved it.

Wyatt holding a snake!

I'm 35 weeks!
Well today I am actually 35 weeks and 3days :)
My shower is this weekend.
I remember at my shower for Wyatt I had a ton of friends.
This shower not so much.
Maybe it's becoming a mother at a young age or sobriety, but I have a lack of friends and it's starting to get to me. I think things will change when I'm working and back in school.
I'm excited my brother and his family will be down for my shower this weekend! Can't wait to see them.

I've been keeping in contact with Natalie's mom-Doug's daughter's mother. hahaha
(I seriously have to laugh because if not I'd die of embarrassment!)
She seems nice, like someone I could have been friends with under different circumstances.
Anyways she has informed me that Doug is dating someone.
Doesn't surprise me but is still disgusting to me.
It hasn't even been 3 months has it?
Oh yeah, and who would want to date him?
He has a baby in Iowa and one on the way. He has 2 different baby mamas who he is not in good standing with! I'd love to hear his story.
For someone who seems to hate, yes literally hate women so much he sure always has to have one (or multiple) of them in his life.
Oh what a man I am thrilled to have as my son's father. Yaaaaa right.

On a happy note, I had my doctor appointment yesterday and mom went with me.
She really liked my doctor, he's great.
Baby's head is down and he seems to be super healthy.
I'm starting to get very excited, still nervous and stressed to the max but excited. :)

Our adventures this week...

putting baby in a corner!

Not literally!!
  geez...
I'm getting the baby's area (little room) ready, starting to wash clothes and register-all that good stuff.
I've been in slow motion with this pregnancy.
I'm excited to meet this baby but I feel if maybe I take my time, time will move slower.
ummm? NOT SO MUCH.
I know I know, it doesn't make sense.
It's as you would imagine, I'm in fact running out of time.
ahhhhhhhhhh!
Pictures to follow soon, well, whenever I get my butt in gear!
--------------------------------------------

oh so funny...
Wyatt has been saying THE funniest things ever this week.
His word of the week is "frickin".
Obviously he has gotten this glorious word from his dear uncle Matt.
He said, "mommy, did you know I frickin love you?"
My heart melted, as horrible as it is that he used the PG version of the "F bomb".
Oh my goodness.

Today I said "ouch the baby keeps kicking me!"
Wyatt responded by suggesting that we give the baby medicine.

I love this guy so "frickin" much it hurts!
Am I going to have enough love in me to love another little boy?
What if he's not as cute?
What if he's not as smart?
What if?
Everyone says I'm totally normal for having these doubts, but motherly love is so powerful that no matter what, I will be in love with this baby. Deep down I know I will be in love with this baby but when I'm with Wyatt it's hard to imagine. I feel like I will have to share my love and I know that's not the case, God just gives you more love to use.
My mom reminded me the other day that when I was pregnant with Wyatt, I feared that I wouldn't love him as much as Brody, my dog. That obviously was not the case. :)
